Unique events combining guided meditation and neuroscience

The Creative Mind
create your mind, create your life

spend a day learning, laughing and growing...

Come along to one of our workshops and discover the ancient secrets of the mind, revealed to us by contemporary neuroscience. See how changing your brain changes your mind... and how changing your mind changes your brain! Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. No prior scientific knowledge required.

See live demonstrations of the brain in action (clinical EEG equipment used)
.

Discover what drives different brain states.  Learn why some people have no sense of direction, find maths impossible or get depressed and why some people remain happy and positive in the face of disaster.

Take part in guided meditations that lead you through to deeper states of being - and strengthen the bridge between the conscious and unconscious mind. Enjoy a free take-home pack that will ensure you leave with the knowledge, methods and skills to continue your journey towards your authentic self.
This is a secular, non-denominational event.

All workshops are run by Laura Lilienthal Etienne and Melissa Foks who between them have over two decades of experience of working with the brain and guiding people toward their full potential.

Laura trained in neurofeedback in the USA, under the personal tutelage of Anna Wise (the world’s best loved technology-assisted meditation teacher). www.annawise.com  and she was subsequently invited to assist with the ‘Awakened Mind’ program. Applying neurofeedback techniques to achieve personal peak performance, she became a National Karate champion at the age of 35.  She is a qualified fitness instructor, with diplomas in Sports Psychology, Coaching and Life Coaching.  Developing spiritual awareness is central to her life and she trains under the guidance of the Buddhist Master, Lama Phuntsho. Laura introduced Anna Wise’s ‘Awakened Mind’ approach to the UK and has applied it extensively in her coaching work with clients.

A qualified teacher with a Master’s degree in Psychology, Melissa trained in neurofeedback with EEG Spectrum at University Hospital, Groningen, the Netherlands.  www.eegspectrum.com She has spent the past 10 years researching and training people in the art and science of attention. Specialising originally in Attention Deficit Disorder, her interests have broadened to encompass self-expansion and Mindfulness.  Her scientific research has been published and she has presented to a wide range of audiences from parents to special needs teachers, psychologists & therapists.  She has written for the popular and specialist press and has been in attendance as 'expert-on-hand' at events about the Mindball brain game at London’s Science Museum and the Business Design Centre.

Together, Laura and Melissa will take you on a unique & fascinating  journey. You do not need any prior knowledge of brain science or meditation to join this group. We look forward to seeing you.
